We're excited to welcome a motivated and reliable entry-level Land Survey Technician to join our field and office team. This is a fantastic hands-on opportunity to learn the exciting world of land surveying while contributing to real island projects from day one.
What You'll Do (with plenty of guidance and support):
- Learn to operate state-of-the-art total stations, GPS, and other precision surveying tools to collect field data
- Help conduct boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys
- Take accurate field measurements, keep clear and organized notes, and help ensure top-quality data
- Assist with office tasks like data processing and preparing survey deliverables (we'll provide thorough training)
What We're Looking For (No prior experience required):
- A genuine interest in land surveying and eagerness to learn new skills — that's the most important qualification
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to grow in a supportive small-team environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfort working outdoors in different weather conditions and terrain
- Bonus (but not required): Any familiarity with AutoCAD, previous outdoor/field work, or strong attention to detail — willing to train a positive candidate
